GREENVILLE, Ill. - The women's volleyball team avenged an early season conference loss to Principia with a three-set win over the Panthers on Tuesday night.
GU won with scores of 25-22, 25-16, 25-18. Earlier in September, Greenville lost at Principia in five sets.
Anna Finch had an amazing outing from her middle position with 17 kills and a hitting percentage of .548 in the match. Abby Freeman helped Greenville secure 19 points with 15 kills and four service aces.
Abby Quirin provided 44 of Greenville's 48 assists.
On the defensive side, Allyson Grabowski and Gretchen Bond contributed 11 digs each.
The Panthers (10-7, 6-1 SLIAC) travel to MacMurray for a match on Thursday night.
