Women's volleyball gains four set win at Spalding

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The women's volleyball team received a wake-up call when they lost the first set to Spalding on Wednesday afternoon, but they battled back to run off 25-10, 25-17, 25-14 wins in the final three sets to gain the SLIAC road victory.

Abby Freeman had another top-notch day on the attack as she produced 27 kills and hit at a rate of .370.

Anna Finch posted 13 kills and a hitting percentage of .458 in a solid effort.  Finch also added one solo block and three block assists.

Abby Quirin's efforts led to 45 set assists, tying her season high.

Whitney Nichols led a quartet of Greenville defensive players reaching double-digit marks in digs as she ended with 17 in the match.

The Panthers (17-9, 12-2 SLIAC) go to Westminster for a conference quadrangular on Saturday.
