Women's volleyball sweeps past Blackburn on the road

CARLINVILLE, Ill. - The women's volleyball team captured a three set win over Blackburn on Tuesday night, taking a 25-17, 25-16, 25-19 victory over the Beavers.

Sacorra Patton led Greenville by producing 13 points in the match. She had 10 kills, four errors, and 31 attacks to finish with a hitting percentage of .194. She also had two service aces and a solo block.

Emily Stahl had an outstanding match on the attack, piling up nine kills on 14 attacks for a hitting rate of .643. Stahl added two solo blocks.

Anna Finch provided 10 1/2 points with seven kills, three solo blocks, and block assist.

Kaitlin Murray ended as the set assist leader for GU's team that hit at a rate of .220 in the match. She had 17 assists and was followed by Jordan Lempa with 16 assists.

Chasity Hill tallied a team-leading 14 digs in the back row.

The Panthers (14-5, 7-0 SLIAC) go to Eureka on Friday.
