ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The women's cross country team competed against Washington-St. Louis in their first race of the season and were defeated 15-49.
Lia Kruse was Greenville's top runner, completing the four kilometer race in 15:36. She was seventh overall.
Brooke Goodyear placed ninth in the race with a time of 16:17.
Megan McKee and Shirley Estes finished with identical times of 16:54 as they were 10th and 11th, respectively.
Jordan File closed out Greenville's scoring with a 13th place mark of 17:12.
The Panthers compete at Olivet Nazarene on Friday, Sept. 8.
