Women's cross country ranks 32nd at NCAA Midwest regional

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - The women's cross country team concluded their 2018 season with a 32nd place finish at the NCAA Midwest Regional in Wisconsin.

Shirley Estes finished as Greenville's top runner in the six kilometer race, posting a time of 25:07 to finish 135th overall.

Hannah Williams took the No. 2 position for Greenville with a 183rd place mark of 26:14.

Sheridan Noll was close behind Williams, placing 187th in 26:21.

Emma Leonhard and Kori Nesbit completed Greenville's team score as they finished back-to-back in the 200th and 201st positions. Leonhard crossed the finish line in 26:40 and Nesbit's time was 26:44.

Conference members Webster, Principia, and Fontbonne also attended the regional. SLIAC champion Webster was nine places better than Greenville while Principia and Fontbonne ranked below Greenville.

The Panthers concluded their 2018 fall season as the SLIAC runners up.
