Adereio Jones, a senior from Annapolis, Md., was selected as the UMAC defensive player of the week after leading Greenville defensively in their UMAC-opening win over Northwestern.

Jones returned an interception 28 yards for a first-quarter TD and finished with five tackles.  He also provided a second interception.
