ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The men's basketball team ended a drought against Webster that dated back to the 2009-10 basketball season as they dominated the Gorloks in a 129-105 win on Wednesday night.

Marvin Bateman dropped in a season-high 28 points as he soared past his previous high of 23 points in a game.  He made 8-of-10 three-pointers.

The Panthers held a convincing 74-38 lead at halftime and saw their lead reach 38 points with just under 14 minutes to play.  The Gorloks never got closer than 17 points in the second half.

Greenville's pressure resulted in 35 turnovers for Webster, and the Panthers collected 23 steals.  Daniel Saeli was GU's leader with six steals, and Isiah Price had five steals.

The Panthers unselfish play created 36 assists, and Johari Dix had nine assists in the game.  Josias Parker provided seven assists, and Price was close behind with six assists.

The victory was the Panthers first at Grant Gymnasium since 2004.
