GREENVILLE, Ill. - After a 167 point performance on Thursday night, the Greenville men's basketball team managed to keep the record books unsettled on Saturday as they reached 200 points in a 200-146 win over Fontbonne.  Before the game, Greenville honored nine seniors - Kieshaun Young-Jones, Johari Dix, Anthony Zataray, Swade Edwards, Isiah Price, Daniel Saeli, Josias Parker, Marquis Scott, and Adam Warren - for their contributions to a Greenville basketball program that is the three-time defending SLIAC champion.

Greenville took a 97-70 lead into the locker room at halftime and did even better in the second half with 103 points.  It was the second time that the Panthers have scored over 100 points in a half.  The previous occasion was against Lincoln Christian on Nov. 22, 2016.  The Panther marks of 200 points in the game and 103 points in a half are the second best totals in NCAA Division III basketball history.

Overall, the Panthers made 73-of-154 field goal attempts, including 33-of-91 three-pointers.

Eric Williams paced the Panthers with 38 points, and Marvin Bateman was second on the team with 37 points.

Greenville managed to set two NCAA Division III national standards with 154 field goal attempts and 91 three-point field goal shots.

Together, Greenville and Fontbonne broke their own record of 318 combined points (1/31/18) with 346, set the NCAA Division III record for total rebounds (136), and established the new NCAA Division III mark for total assists in a game (82).  In addition, Greenville reset the SLIAC record for points by a team in a game and established the conference record for three-pointers made with 33.

The Panthers (14-6, 11-2 SLIAC) travel to Spalding on Wednesday for a game at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT.
