Men's soccer comes up short at Iowa Wesleyan

MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa -- The men's soccer team received a match-tying goal from Christian Gomez in the 47th minute, but Iowa Wesleyan tacked on three more goals before the match concluded to take a 4-1 win over the Panthers.

Greenville gave up 14 shots but were supported by five saves by goalkeeper Michael Gonzalez.

The Panthers collected eight shots, with shots on goal posted by Gomez, Max Finley, and Caleb Mulholland.

Caleb Carpenter took a team-high three shots in the match.

The Panthers (7-9, 2-4 SLIAC) host Spalding on Saturday at 2 p.m. for Homecoming and Senior Day.
