Men's soccer runs past Moody Bible in win

CHICAGO, Ill. - The men's soccer team dominated Moody Bible in an 11-1 win on the road Tuesday afternoon.

Nine different Panthers posted goals in the match, and Jared McPeek and Juan Jose Herranz led the team with two goals apiece.  McPeek added an assist.

Ruben Martinez contributed a goal and two assists, and Adam Jones and Juan Garcia each scored a goal and added an assist.

Nick Holland produced three saves in goal as he was relatively untested in the match.

Greenville took a lead of 6-1 to halftime and tacked on five goals in the second half.  Ian MacLean, Nick Schumaker, Napoleon Urquidi, and Sebastian Rojas had one goal each.

The Panthers (6-1) travel to Franklin for a match on Saturday.
