Men's soccer falls at Rose-Hulman

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The men's soccer team traveled for the first time this season and suffered a 1-0 defeat against Rose-Hulman.

The Panthers permitted RHIT to take the lead in the sixth minute of the game and were outshot 5-0 in the first half.

In the second half, the Panthers reversed their fortunes, holding a 9-0 shot advantage and giving the Engineers everything they could muster.

Ruben Martinez ended the match with two shots in 62 minutes of play. Seven other Panthers attempted one shot.

After allowing the early goal, goalkeeper Nick Holland produced four saves in the match.

The Panthers (1-1) head to Dominican on Saturday for a match at Noon.
