Men's track and field receives three wins at Principia

ELSAH, Ill. - The men's track and field team received headlining efforts from Jeremiah Davis in several events as they participated at Principia's indoor meet.

After posting the best time in Friday's preliminaries, Davis was the winner in the 60 meter dash with a time of 6.98 seconds.  He also won the 200 meter dash in 22.05 seconds.

Chris Crawford was the winner in the weight throw with a distance of 16.85 meters (55 feet-3.5 inches).

Greenville's 4x800 meter relay team came away with a time of 8:19.54 as John Mangold, Collin Kessinger, Kaleb Carlson, and Jackson Pierce placed second.

The Panthers had a host of four third place rankings.

Di'Mond Salmon was third in the 200 (23.25 seconds) and triple jump (12.92 meters).

Also, running to a third place finish was Greenville's 4x200 meter relay team of Davis, Alex Fink, Mahari Holt, and Salmond.  They clocked a 1:34.25.

Mitchell Hooten rounded out Greenville's third place performances with a throw of 14.55 meters (47-9) in the shot put.

The Panthers head back to Principia next weekend for another meet.
