Men's track and field led by Davis at McKendree

LEBANON, Ill. - The men's track and field team earned the second place position in their meet at McKendree on Saturday. Greenville captured 51 points in the field of five teams and featured five event champions.

Jeremiah Davis was the event winner in the 100 meter dash and 200 meter dash with times of 10.76 seconds and 21.58 seconds, respectively.

Alex Fink won the 400 meter dash as he recorded a mark of 49.26 seconds.

Davis and Fink joined Di'Mond Salmond and Josh Flounoy in the 4x100 meter relay and won the event in 41.93 seconds.

Nate Brown gave Greenville the top distance in the discus at 47.20 meters.

Chris Crawford was the winner in the hammer and produced a throw of 52.32 meters.

The Panthers will host their Greenville Select meet on Saturday.
