Men's track and field takes top positions in four events at SIU-Edwardsville

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - The men's track and field team was led by four wins at the SIU-Edwardsville twilight meet on Friday.

Jeremiah Davis won the titles in the 100 and 200 meter dashes with times of 10.67 seconds and 21.59 seconds, respectively.

John Mangold was the winner in the 1500 meter run with a time of 4:00.

Johnathon Goodenow captured the win in the 3000 meter run with a time of 9:51.

Colton Underwood provided a runner-up position in the high jump as he cleared 1.72 meters (5 feet-7.75 inches).

Greenville's 4x100 meter relay took second in 41.91 seconds.

Rakim Murphy gave Greenville a second place showing in the 100 meter dash, finishing in 10.91 seconds.

The Panthers will compete in the NCCAA national championships next Thursday and Friday at Grace College in Indiana.
