BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The men's cross country team was led by the first place performance of John Mangold as they competed at Illinois Wesleyan on Friday afternoon in their first meet of the season.

Mangold completed the course with a time of 16:11 to win the race by nearly 14 seconds.

Dylan Goodyear was second across the line for Greenville, and he was sixth overall at 16:44.

The Panthers will next compete at Wheaton on Saturday, Sept. 15.
