Women's soccer falls at Spalding

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The women's soccer team took a 4-0 shutout loss at Spalding on Wednesday.  Greenville couldn't get their offense rolling as Spalding scored twice in each half for the win.

Greenville had nine shots in the match, including shots on goal from Dani Pearce, Jamie Schollenbruch, Natty Hepburn, and Gabbie Hartin.

Goalkeepers Hope Brakenhoff and Lourdes Machado split the responsibility.  Brakenhoff had four saves in the first half, and Machado stopped one shot in the second half.

The Lady Panthers (5-10-1, 1-5 SLIAC) host Iowa Wesleyan at 2 p.m. Saturday in their Homecoming game.
