ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The women's tennis season concluded in the semifinals of the UMAC tournament with a 5-2 loss against Wisconsin-Superior.
The Panthers jumped ahead in doubles with an 8-3 win from the No. 1 team of Addison Brannon and Lanie Carder and an 8-1 victory off the rackets of No. 2 duo Ireland Oliver and Callie Adkins.
The Panthers played three sets in all but one of the six singles matches, but the team did not record a win individually.
No. 2 Brannon and her opponent played to a 6-6 tie in the third set when Superior clinched.
The Panthers concluded their season with an overall record of 11-9.
