LEBANON, Ill. - The women's track and field team recorded a fifth place finish at McKendree on Saturday. The women earned three points in the final team standings. The meet only awarded points to the top four finishers who qualified for team points according to meet regulations.

Hannah Williams provided a time of 2:29.62 in the 800 meter run as she was fourth and gained a point for GU.

Sabrina Favela came up with a time of 13:54.70 in the 3000 meter steeplechase to also finish fourth and collect a point.

Jessica Staley, Williams, Alyssa Comer, and Sheridan Noll teamed together in the 4x400 meter relay to finish fourth with a combined time of 4:22.04.

Staley also completed the 400 meter dash in 1:01.98 to rank fifth in the field and earn one point.

Cayden Sharp cleared 1.47 meters in the high jump in her fifth place showing.

Victoria Papez placed fifth in the hammer throw with a mark of 42.48 meters.

The Panthers return to action on Saturday in their Greenville Select meet.
