Women's track and field receives win from Hannah Williams at SIU-Edwardsville

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - The women's track and field team received a win from Hannah Williams at the SIU-Edwardsville twilight meet on Friday.

Williams won the 800 meter dash in 2:25.99, and her teammate Victoria Dyson was second in 2:39.91.

The 4x100 meter relay competed for time, and they finished in 50.67 seconds.

Jessica Staley finished as runner up in the 200 meter dash as she clocked a time of 26.35 seconds. Staley was also third in the 400 with a time of 1:00.33.

Cayden Sharp was second in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 16.01 seconds.

Haniah Davis was third in the 200 meter dash with a mark of 26.54 seconds. Davis also brought back the fourth place ranking in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.91 seconds.

The Panthers will compete in the NCCAA national championships next Thursday and Friday at Grace College in Indiana.
