Women's volleyball drops match at Rose-Hulman

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The women's volleyball team suffered a three set defeat at Rose-Hulman on Tuesday night.  The Panthers fell 25-23, 25-12, 25-18.

The Panthers pushed Rose-Hulman in the first set as Greenville ended with a better hitting percentage.  In the opening set, the women posted 12 kills and two errors in 37 attempts, hitting at a rate of .270.

Greenville struggled in the second set, ending with a hitting percentage less than zero.  They rebounded in the third set with a hitting percentage of .184.

Allyson Mitchell led the Panthers with 10 kills and three block assists in creating 11.5 points.

Abby Quirin provided 16 assists and 12 digs in the match.

The Panthers (8-3) travel to MacMurray for a SLIAC match on Thursday.
