Women's volleyball takes fourth straight win

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The women's volleyball team cruised past Spalding in three sets as a part of SLIAC action on Friday night.

The Panthers won handily by 25-14, 25-22, 25-12 scores.

Abby Freeman managed to record 17 kills in just three sets as she led Greenville's hitting attack which finished at a rate of .287.  Brooklyn Pace added 10 kills.

On the defensive side of the net, Anna Finch piled up nine block assists, and Allyson Grabowski had 12 digs.

GU's hitting attack came out on fire in the first set with 15 kills and four errors in 30 attacks (.367).  They went 15-7-35-.229 in a tighter second set before closing out the match with an improved mark of 10-4-22-.273.

The Panthers (5-4, 3-1 SLIAC) play Bluffton in a non-conference match on Saturday before playing Fontbonne in Louisville.
