Women's volleyball drops five-set match at Westminster

FULTON, Mo. - The women's volleyball team competed at Westminster on Saturday and fell short in a match that went the distance. Greenville lost 18-25, 19-25, 25-23, 26-24, 15-12 after taking the first two sets.

Greenville's Anna Finch was a force on the attack for Greenville with 17 kills in 33 attacks. She did not commit an attacking error to finish with a .515 hitting percentage. Finch also provided four block assists.

Jasmin Smith, Maci Bonacorsi, and Mia Bonacorsi all had eight kills for Greenville, and Jordan Lempa tallied 25 set assists.

Mia Bonacorsi was effective on defense with a team-high 17 digs. Chasity Hill added 15 digs, and Maci Bonacorsi totaled five block assists.

The Panthers (10-7, 5-1 SLIAC) host Iowa Wesleyan on Friday, Oct. 11, at 7 p.m. in H.J. Long Gymnasium.
