Women's cross country runs to  seventh place finish at Bradley

PEORIA, Ill. - The women's cross country team went to the Bradley University Pink Classic and ran amid snowy conditions on Friday afternoon.  The women earned seventh place of 12 teams in the event.

The Panthers were led by the time of Shirley Estes who was 37th with a time of 24:50 over the six kilometer race.

Greenville's number two runner was Sheridan Noll who checked in at 43rd.  Noll completed the course in 25:24.

Kori Nesbit and Hannah Williams were six seconds apart for the 48th and 50th place positions.  Nesbit clocked a time of 25:37, and Williams crossed the line in 25:43.

Emma Leonhard was the final runner to count in Greenville's scoring with a 60th place time of 26:42.

Greenville's final score was 32-36-41-43-49 for a total of 201 points.

The Panthers will return to competition on October 27 at the SLIAC championships in Litchfield.  Runners will also participate in the Homecoming race at Greenville University on Saturday morning, October 20.
