What is the Orange & Black?
The Orange & Black recognizes and celebrates those who support Greenville University Athletics through charitable contributions. Gifts made to the Athletic Department, individual programs, Athletics program capital projects or other charitable contributions to Greenville University Athletics qualify for membership to the Orange & Black. Members receive benefits at various levels based on their overall annual giving to Greenville University Athletics. Benefits include invitations to special events, exclusive communication, inside access to the GU Athletics Department, enhanced game day experiences and more.

Current giving levels and potential benefits are as follows:
- Membership year runs from June 1 – May 31
- Fifteen percent (15%) of every gift is designated for the "Athletic Excellence Fund". The remaining eighty-five percent (85%) will be allocated to the sport of your choosing (if desired).
- Membership is considered joint between spouses
- Gifts must be made before May 31 to qualify for benefits in the membership year ahead

Donor Examples
Example 1
Mary made a $500 gift in support of women’s basketball on August 1, 2024. She has established her Panther Cub level membership for the membership year beginning June 1, 2024.
Example 2
Brian sets up a recurring monthly credit card gift in October 2024 for $30 to the men’s basketball program. With this monthly gift, Brian has established his Panther Cub level membership for the year beginning June 1, 2024.
Established in 2024 the goal of the Orange & Black Booster Club is to increase philanthropic support of Greenville Athletics to advance learning, enliven campus life, develop leadership skills, and foster the personal growth of student-athletes through high quality athletics programs.
