LINCOLN, Neb. - The men's basketball team received 17 points from Travis Dickey in their 151-99 loss against their weekend host Nebraska Wesleyan in the final game of the two-day Snyder Classic on Saturday evening. Dickey converted five three-pointers and two free throws in the game.

Greenville fell behind 79-46 in the first half and only scored nine points off turnovers all evening as the Prairie Wolves controlled the game. The Panther squad which normally forces over 24 turnovers per game only benefited from 11 NWU turnovers, and the Prairie Wolves never trailed in the matchup.

Nebraska Wesleyan outshot Greenville 74.4 percent to 37.2 percent from the field and 50 percent to 35.1 percent behind the three-point line.

GU was also outdistanced in rebounds by a 55-32 margin.

Greenville's other scoring leaders included Darius Scott with 15 points and Jarred Johnson with 14.

Keishun Thomas provided 14 points.

GU's leading rebounders consisted of Brock Bailey, Kaidyn Johnson, and Jamie Calmese each with five.

Adrian Alvarez and Dickey passed out three assists, and Thomas and Joseph Craig each had a team-high two steals.

The Panthers (0-7) will return to action on Thursday at Lakeland in Wisconsin with a 6 p.m. tipoff. Thursday's game will feature the two top scoring teams in NCAA Division III men's basketball.
