Men's basketball falls 115-90 at Webster

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The men's basketball team dropped a 115-90 decision at Webster on Wednesday night.

The Panthers trailed 53-38 at halftime and were outscored by 10 points in the second half for the 25 point loss.

Keishun Thomas finished the game as GU's top scorer, posting 17 points which was a tick below his team-leading scoring average of 17.7 points per game.

Starters Travis Dickey and Jarred Johnson surpassed double figures in scoring with Dickey adding 14 points and Johnson reaching 10 points.

The Panthers had three players record seven rebounds - Gaawar Tuom, Joseph Craig, and Carlos Crespo.

Brock Bailey, Darius Scott, and Craig all had a team-high two assists, and Thomas and Crespo each had two steals.

The Panthers (1-13, 0-3 SLIAC) still lead NCAA Division III in scoring, and they will attempt to get back on track this Saturday at home with a 3 p.m. contest against Fontbonne.
