Men's basketball captures 25 point win at Westminster

FULTON, Mo. - The men's basketball team continued their improvement that started on Saturday and collected an impressive 109-84 win at Westminster on Wednesday night. Coming off the heels of an overtime loss to Fontbone, the Panthers put together a complete game and outscored Westminster in each half of Wednesday night's contest.

The Panthers featured six players that reached or exceeded double digit scoring efforts.

Jarred Johnson produced 19 points for Greenville, and Donato Pakak added 16.

Adrian Alvarez posted a 15 point evening, and Kaidyn Johnson recorded 14 points.

Ten points were scored by Jamie Calmese and Travis Dickey.

The Panthers picked up 24 offensive rebounds in the game and were led in overall rebounds by Pakak and Gaawar Tuom with nine each.

Joseph Craig led the squad with five assists, and three Panthers - Calmese, J. Johnson, and Tuom - posted two steals.

The Panthers (2-14, 1-4 SLIAC) will travel to Blackburn for a Saturday showdown with the Beavers.
