Men's basketball falls 92-80 at Spalding

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The men's basketball team competed at Spalding on Wednesday night and lost 92-80 in a tough road matchup.

Travis Dickey ended as the leading scorer for the Panthers with 18 points. He made 5-of-10 three pointers and 3-of-3 free throws in the game.

Keishun Thomas reached double figures with an 11 point outing.

Adrian Alvarez and Donato Pakak each added nine points.

The Panthers were unable to force Spalding into committing as many turnovers as Greenville needed. Spalding finished with 20 turnovers, and the Panthers had nine steals. Thomas was GU's leader with three steals.

Jarred Johnson finished as GU's top rebounder with six in the game, and Carlos Crespo and Kaidyn Johnson each held the team-high with four assists.

The Panthers (7-17, 6-7 SLIAC) will conclude the SLIAC regular season on Saturday at Fontbonne before entering the SLIAC tournament as either the fifth or sixth seed.
