Men's basketball records 125-121 victory at Webster

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The men's basketball team remained on top in the SLIAC with a 125-121 win over Webster on Saturday afternoon. Grimmett Glenn and his 27 point effort led the Panther offense, and Ja'Rod Webb posted 22 points.

The Panthers held a 66-55 lead at halftime and held on to win the game despite being outscored by seven in the second half.

Kiarie Patrick joined GU's list of double-figure scorers with 16 points. Vincent Rodriguez and Christian Bennett each had 12 points, and Malik Johnson posted 10 points.

GU's top rebounding production came from Patrick and Jamie Calmese with five each.

Rodriguez posted a team-high six assists, and Webb and Patrick collected four steals.

The Panthers (14-5, 10-2 SLIAC) will face Principia on the road on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
