GREENVILLE, Ill. - The men's basketball team had plenty of chances, but they could not convert at the end of the game in their 119-116 loss to Fontbonne.  Prior to the game, the Panthers honored seniors Brock Bailey, Jacob Lee, Darius Scott, Trenton Lee, Travis Dickey, Kaidyn Johnson, Jamie Calmese, and Joseph Craig.

Kiarie Patrick finished the game as GU's leading scorer with 22 points.

Johnson posted 17 points, and Vincent Rodriguez had 14 points.

Adrian Alvarez managed to score 12, and Grimmett Glenn ended with 11 points.

Greenville led 62-58 at halftime, but Fontbonne stayed in the game long enough, taking the lead at the end and holding on for the win.

Patrick fell one rebound short of a double-double with nine in the game, and Rodriguez posted five assists and four steals.

The Panthers (14-7, 9-5 SLIAC) will travel to Lyon for a game on Thursday night.
