Men's gymnastics posts another program high with 392.950 at Simpson

INDIANOLA, Iowa - The men's gymnastics team took down Simpson on the road in recording their third consecutive program high with a score of 392.950.

The Panthers came out on top in five of the six events.

Greenville dominated in the floor exercise, taking the top five ranks of the event. GU racked up a score of 66.700 in floor.

Zach Connelly placed first with a 13.900. Michael Avery wasn't too far behind with a 13.600, placing him second. Jaxon Clapper, Beau Bice, and Mac Pollock followed, placing third through fifth, respectively. 

GU received 64.150 points in the pommel horse with Jacob Foster and Landon Benas in first and second place. Foster scored a 13.400, and Benas earned a 13.150.

Sergey Popov found himself in second place in the rings with a mark of 13.050, contributing to Greenville's 63.750.

Greenville prevailed in the vault with a 70.800. Bice earned first place with a 14.450, and Logan Watterson took second with a 14.300.

Donovan Diviney ranked first in both the parallel bars and the horizontal bar. He received a 13.500 in the PB and a 13.250 in the HB. 

The Panthers did not enter anyone in the all-around competition. 

GU will have another week off before traveling to Lincoln for a tri-meet against Army and Nebraska!
