Men's gymnastics brings home some hardware in USAG Championship Finals

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The men's gymnastics team had a group of gymnasts qualify for the USAG Championship Event Finals on Saturday. The Panthers received six All-American honors and one national champion title. 

Michael Avery posted a 14.450 on vault to earn the national champion title, bringing home the gold.

In floor, Zach Connelly had a second-place podium finish with a 13.950, and Charles Kramer scored a 13.050 to place seventh. 

Landon Benas brought home some hardware for the pommel horse and the parallel bars. Benas put up a 13.950 in the pommel to earn the bronze medal and a 12.000 in the parallel bars for a sixth-place finish. 

In the high bar, Donovan Diviney placed third with a 13.150, and Jacob Foster scored a 12.400 for fourth place. 

The Panthers will compete next in the ECAC Championships on April 6th at noon.
