Men's soccer dominates Baptist Bible in 4-0 win

GREENVILLE, Ill. - The men's soccer team blasted Baptist Bible 4-0 on Monday night.

Greenville exploded offensively against Baptist Bible. The Panthers outshot the Patriots 43-3.

A penalty kick in the 22nd minute resulted in Greenville's first goal. Santiago Sandoval took the PK and scored. 

That was the only goal in the first half. The Panthers went into halftime with a 1-0 lead. 

In the second half, Matthew Davies scored twice for Greenville. He had an unassisted goal in the 62nd minute and another goal, assisted by Xavi Villena, in the 83rd minute.

Sandoval had his second goal of the game in the final minute, this time assisted by Rafael Andrade

Alvaro Marchal had his first start in goal for the Panthers and was awarded with the 4-0 win. 

The Panthers (4-6-2) have a SLIAC match against Principia at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
