DECATUR, Ill. - The men's tennis team raised their record to 13-2 with a narrow 5-4 victory over Millikin on Saturday.

The Panthers established the early lead in the match with doubles wins in No. 1 and No. 3. In No. 1 doubles, Andres Sanchez and Rafael Rodriguez won 8-4, and the No. 3 team of Austin Burkhart and Thibaut Tignee was an 8-3 winner.

In singles, Greenville received wins at No. 1, No. 5, and No. 6. Three of the six singles matches went to a third set.

No. 1 Andres Sanchez was a 6-3, 2-6, 7-5 winner, staving off a match point and fighting back to earn the win. No. 6 Thibaut Tignee picked up a 6-7 (4-7), 6-1, 6-4 victory, and No. 5 Austin Burkhart was last on, taking his match 6-7 (3-7), 6-3, 7-5 over his Millikin opponent.

The Panthers continue their season on March 30 at Illinois College.
