Clark Kent of men's tennis appointed to national student-athlete advisory committee

GREENVILLE, Ill. - Clark Kent has been appointed as a member of the NCAA Division III Student-Athlete Advisory Committee as a representative from the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Kent is currently a sophomore at Greenville University.

"When I heard of potentially being a part of the SAAC I realized that this is a great opportunity to impact the community around me and my fellow athletes and competitors on a larger scale," said Kent.

As a member of the NCAA SAAC committee, Kent will work to develop and grow the Association's mission, traditions, values, and reputation. He will serve as the liaison between the student-athletes in the SLIAC, giving them a voice within the NCAA Division III legislative and governance process. His term begins immediately and will run through January 2025.

"I am looking forward to meeting other athletes from different areas of the states, people with different backgrounds and ideas, and being able to learn from each other and help each other's athletic conferences," said Kent.

Kent is majoring in Marketing at Greenville University and is a member of the Panthers men's tennis program. He is a member of the Greenville Student Government Association responsible for hosting campus events to help the GU community.
