BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The men's track and field team saw C.J. Anderson and Carson Rantanen advance to the finals of the 60 meter dash with their perfomances in the preliminaries on Friday.  The men finished first and second in their heat.

Anderson ended second of the participants with a time of 6.75 seconds, a personal best.

Rantanen was fifth in the final standings of the preliminaries with a time of 6.80 seconds.

On Saturday, Anderson and Rantanen will go head to head in the finals in their attempt to solidfy their first NCAA Division III All-American honors.
