Men's indoor track and field completes NCCAA national championship with fourth place

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The men's indoor track and field team posted a fourth place finish of 69 points at the NCCAA national championships at Cedarville.

Greenville's national champions included Wesley Kile in the pole vault, the 4x200 meter relay (Ayden Cothern, Austin Ball, Chase LaTouche, and James McMinns), and the 4x800 meter relay (Jalen Franz, Joe Gomez, Isaiah Atkins, and Drake Rutledge).

Kile cleared 4.70 meters (15 feet-5 inches) in his national championship performance.

The 4x200 completed their win in 1:31.73, and the 4x800 won with a time of 8:07.84.

Greenville's Matthew Binion (weight throw) and the 4x400 meter relay (LaTouche, McMinns, Ball, and Franz) posted second place marks, and the distance medley team of Joe Gomez, Franz, Isaiah Atkins, and Gianni Estrada placed third.

The Panthers will next compete on Feb. 16 at Illinois College.
