Men's indoor track and field led by LaTouche in Illinois College meet

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. - Due to adverse weather conditions, a smaller team of men's track and field student athletes competed at Illinois College's unscored meet on Friday evening. Greenville achieved one third place and fourth finish, two fifth place marks, and one sixth place effort.

Kourtland Harris and Chase LaTouche placed three-four in the 60 meter dash, each posting a time of 7.11 seconds.

Wesley Kile cleared a bar set at 4.27 meters in the pole vault to take fifth place, and Cory Stoll jumped 12.11 meters in the triple jump for fifth place.

LaTouche raced in the 200 meter dash and finished in 23.47 seconds for sixth place.

The Panthers will return to action at the SLIAC championships on Saturday, Feb. 24, at Principia.
