Men's track and field opens with third place at Washington-St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The men's track and field team placed third of four teams with a combined score of 149 at the Washington-St. Louis meet on Saturday.

Austin Ball contributed 18 points of his own with second place in the 110 meter hurdles (15.44 seconds) and a first place finish in the 400 meter dash (56.15 seconds).

Colton Rich grabbed the win in the javelin with a mark of 50.49 meters (165 feet-8 inches).

Cory Stoll produced fifth place in the 200 meter dash (22.72), ranked second in the long jump (6.90 meters/22-7.75), and joined with Kourtland Harris, Ayden Cothern, and Chase LaTouche for first place in the 4x100 meter relay (42.12 seconds).

LaTouche added a second place time of 21.99 seconds in the 200 meter dash, and Harris was runner up in the 100 meter dash (10.88 seconds).

The Panthers will return to Washington-St. Louis for a meet on Friday, March 29, and Saturday, March 30.
