Men's cross country led by Estrada's number two finish at Washington-St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The men's cross country team competed against Washington-St. Louis on Wednesday morning in Forest Park, completing a 6000 meter race, and placing second with a final score of 19-44.

Gianni Estrada finished second overall at the event with a time of 19:02. Estrada was 24 seconds back of the race winner.

Greenville's second runner across the finish line was Collin Kessinger in the 14th position. Kessinger clocked a time of 20:00.

Kaleb Carlson (18th, 20:15), Joe Gomez (19th, 20:23) and Eli Atkins (22nd, 21:35) rounded out Greenville's team score.

The Panthers will next compete on Friday, Sept. 10, at Illinois-Springfield.
