Men's cross country brings back third place at Olivet Nazarene

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. - The men's cross country team placed third of eight teams at the Olivet Nazarene Tiger Cross Country Invitational on Friday. The Panthers' top finisher was Jeremiah Perry who recorded an 11th place showing. Overall, the Panthers had 92 points.

Perry collected seven points for Greenville with his time of 27:46 over the eight kilometer race.

Gianni Estrada placed 20th overall, gaining 14 points in the standings, with a time of 28:13.

Kaleb Carlson was the 31st participant across the finish line, earning 21 points in 28:39. Adam Wellen stayed with Carlson at the finish, posting a time of 28:40 for 32nd place and 22 points.

Isaiah Atkins rounded out Greenville's scoring positions with a time of 29:08 for 41st place and 28 points in the standings.

The Panthers return to action at the site of the NCAA Division III regional in Aurora on Saturday, October 1.
