NORMAL, Ill. - The men's cross country team was led by Gianni Estrada in their meet at Illinois State on Friday afternoon. Estrada lead Greenville with 77th place overall and a time of 27:22.

Estrada posted an average kilometer of 3:25 over the 8000 meter contest.

Joshua Medlin was second of Greenville's runners, recording at time just eight seconds behind Estrada in 80th place.

Adam Weller posted a time of 27:36 for 83rd, and James Goodenow finished 85th in 27:45.

Greenville's final scoring position was occupied by Joe Gomez in 87th place and a mark of 27:51.

The Panthers will take two weeks for training before their meet at Wartburg on Saturday, Sept. 30.
