LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The women's basketball team pulled out a 55-54 win at Spalding on Wednesday night, receiving a bucket from Mia deJesus with 11 seconds remaining that capped a 7-0 run by the Panthers to end the game.

With two and a half minutes to play, the Panthers found themselves trailing 54-47.

A jumper from Natalie Iberg, a turnover by Spalding, and a layup from Alyssa Seymour made the score 54-51.

Then Greenville forced another turnover, and Carolina Hoffman knocked down a shot to bring the deficit down to 54-53.

The Panthers missed a shot to take the lead and had to foul, but Spalding's free throw shooter missed both, setting the stage for deJesus to win it.

Seymour and Savana Powell-Goodman led the team with 12 points, and Hoffman added 10 points.

Seymour completed a double-double with 10 rebounds.

Iberg and Hoffman paced GU with three assists, and Hoffman, Powell-Goodman, and Cortney Brummer each had two steals.
