COLUMBUS, Miss. - The women's basketball team atoned for their matchup with MUW in January and pinned an 84-73 loss on the Owls in Mississippi.

Carolina Hoffman was the Panthers leading scorer with 18 points in the game, and Savana Powell-Goodman posted 15 points. Hoffman also totaled a team-high seven assists.

Alyssa Seymour added a double-double performance of 12 points and 12 rebounds to the win while also leading the squad with four steals. Natalie Iberg finished with 11 points.

The Panthers led 23-19 after the first quarter and held a narrow 39-38 lead at halftime. The score stood at 63-62 after three quarters.

In the fourth quarter, Greenville took control, outscoring MUW 21-11 with nine points from Powell-Goodman and six from Hoffman.

The Panthers (14-9, 11-5 SLIAC) host Eureka on Wednesday night at 5:30 p.m.
