NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The women's gymnastics team faced Fisk at Belmont on Tuesday night and dropped their meet 190.575-183.875 in their final regular season competition.
The Panthers posted their highest score in the vault where Amara Nelson led GU with a score of 9.650. Nelson's total ranked third of the 12 competitors in the event.
Ellery Gilmer was second for Greenville and fourth overall in the vault with a mark of 9.525.
The Panthers earned 47.225 points in the vault.
Greenville collected a total of 44.725 in the uneven bars, allowing Fisk to pull ahead 95.150-91.950 after two rotations.
Molly Froman posted a score of 9.300 in the bars which was fifth in the competition.
Greenville's beam performance added 45.250 points to their total. Nelson was the event winner with a score of 9.800.
Finally, in the floor exercise, Greenville tallied 46.675 points. Nelson again provided GU's leading score with a mark of 9.675, placing second overall in the event.
Nelson and Froman participated in every event, and Nelson was second of the three all-arounds with a score of 38.325.
The meet wrapped up Greenville's inaugural season.
