Women's gymnastics captures second straight dual meet victory

GREENVILLE, Ill. - The women's gymnastics team won their second straight meet with a 184.750-182.150 home victory over Centenary.  The Panthers swept wins in all events.

Here's how it happened: 

Amara Nelson placed first in vault with a 9.650, adding to GU's team vault score of 46.625. 

Nelson found herself in first place again on the uneven bars. She received a 9.275. 

Ashlie Leage competed on the balance beam, earning a mark of 9.650, ranking her first. 

Greenville dominated in the floor exercise with a team score of 46.925. Ellery Gilmer took first place with a 9.600.

Nelson participated in the all-around competition, earning a 37.225. 

The Panthers will continue their season at Wisconsin-La Crosse on Friday, Feb. 2.
