Women's soccer bags second straight double-digit win

EUREKA, Ill. - The women's soccer team received four goals from Ashlie Johnston Cabral and two goals from Athena Hagerman in their 10-0 shutout win at Eureka on Wednesday.

The Panthers initiated their scoring efforts in the 10th minute of the match and continued to add goals throughout the rest of the afternoon.

In addition to Cabral and Hagermann's multiple goal efforts, GU received single goals from Idaly Valenzuela, Jen De Leon De Leon, Emma Cadwell, and an own goal.

The Panthers outshot the Red Devils 44-2.

De Leon De Leon was Greenville's most prolific shot taker with nine in the match.  Cabral and Valenzuela posted seven shots each.

Addison Miller and Madison Ashford teamed together for the shutout at Greenville's goalkeeper position.

The Panthers (6-3-2, 5-1-1 SLIAC) will host Principia at home on Saturday at 3 p.m.
