GREENVILLE, Ill. - The women's soccer team defeated Principia 2-0 on Saturday in Greenville. The Panthers scored in the fourth minute and went 78 minutes before adding an insurance goal in the 82nd minute. Before the match, GU celebrated head coach Jeff Wardlaw's 100th career win which occurred on Wednesday at Eureka.

Greenville dominated play with a 29-5 shot advantage.

The Panthers received a goal from Ashley Johnston Cabral in the fourth minute and one from Allyson Schulz late in the match. Jen De Leon De Leon assisted on both goals.

Addison Miller earned the shutout for the Panthers with two saves.

The Panthers (7-3-2, 6-1-1 SLIAC) travel to Webster for a match on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
