Women's soccer dismantles Lyon in 5-0 shutout win

GREENVILLE, Ill. - The women's soccer team dominated Lyon in a 5-0 blanking on Thursday night at Francis Field.

Allyson Schulz added to her team-high scoring total with two goals and two assists.

Katelyn Christensen, Angie Stedman, and Sam De La Cruz also had outstanding performances. Christensen and Stedman each had a goal and assist of their own, and De La Cruz had an unassisted goal in the second half. 

Leading 2-0 at halftime, Greenville boosted their lead with three more goals in the second half.

The Panthers dominated with 22 shots and sent Lyon home scoreless. 

Addison Miller was the goalkeeper for Greenville and had one save. 

The Panthers (2-5-3, 1-1 SLIAC) will play Spalding at home on Saturday at 3 p.m.
