Women's soccer takes fifth straight SLIAC shutout win

FULTON, Mo. - The women's soccer team defeated Westminster 2-0 on Wednesday night to stretch their winning streak to five matches, all shutouts.

The Panthers received goals from Allyson Schulz and Nina Torvisco in the win.

Both goals happened late in the game. Schulz scored the first one in the 72nd minute with an assist from Emma Cadwell

Then Torvisco tacked on the second goal in the 83rd minute, assisted by Ashlie Johnston Cabral

The Panthers outshot the Blue Jays 12-5. Cadwell had three of the twelve. In fact, she had the first two shots of the game in the 6th and 12th minutes. 

Addison Miller picked up another win with four saves for the Panthers. 

Greenville (6-5-3, 5-1 SLIAC) will host Eureka next Wednesday at 7 p.m.
